From its opening to the public, the industrial archeology of the Dora Park has established itself as an ideal location for writers and street artists that have coloured a lot of spaces with different graphic styles and models, but all are manifestation of the underground culture that brings together Turin and the other big European cities. Authorized works of big famous and up-and-coming artists together with self-managed works have transformed the area in a real “spray park” of free creativity. Thanks to the Pic Turin Festival in 2012, several areas of the Dora Park are now among the main settings of street art and graffiti. The protagonists of the regeneration and interpretation of this urban space are the new generations, that have transformed this area in a meeting place for informal, social and sport activities.
